Bafra – holiday paradise with beautiful sandy beaches and clear blue sea water
Bafra is part of the Karpaz peninsula in northern Cyprus. This area is renowned for its pristine beauty with glorious sandy beaches, clear blue Mediterranean waters and a rugged spectacular coastline, all framed by the Besparmak mountain range.

In the near of Bafra is the beautiful and quiet fishing village of Bogaz. Fishing boats sail in and out of the harbor all day and their catch is sold on the quay to local restaurant owners and locals, which means that there are many good fish restaurants and taverns around.

Cyprus is full of historic sites and architecture like the 13th century BC Salamis Ruins, 25 km south of Bafra and the 13th century Strongylos Castle just 5 km southeast of Bafra.
Karpaz Gate Marina, one of the Mediterranean’s largest marinas, is a 20 minute drive north with more than 300 berths and unique facilities and infrastructure.
